We had a great time on Saturday. Competition days are long. It takes everyone to make the day fantastic. The kids’ performance was great and earned them a rating of Superior. Mr. Pouncey did obtain feedback from judges on items that need to be worked on but overall the judges gave him praises for our show.
A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who attended training and worked at the competition. I was extremely impressed on how well everyone worked together to get on and off the field. We will need volunteers this weekend at Summerville also. You may sign-up for Summerville competition on the below link.
Summerville Competition items to note: Parking will be $5.00 - Parking will be in the grassy area in front of the VENDOR area per map.
Admission is $10, and Kids 5-11 $5, 4 & under are free. Cash is best. Debit/Credit is available but for select items and locations.
Meeting Reminder: Tomorrow night, Tuesday, Oct. 2, is the first Tuesday of the month which means a Parent Booster Meeting from 6:30-7:30. We will also have pennants, tumblers, and pillows for sale at the end of the meeting. If attending the meeting, we will have all pre-ordered pillows for pick-up.
Props: We are hopeful that the screens for our props will be in this week. Please note that we will put out a call for volunteers as soon as they arrive.
Concessions: Due to schedule changes, please remember that we will not have a JV/B game on Thursday. We now have a Varsity game on Friday night. We need help with concessions and PIT.
